The recent Black Lives Matter riots have highlighted some of the serious problems our society is grappling with concerning ‘justice’. Ongoing discussions about gender inequality, crime and punnishment; and even unnoticed tragedies like modern day slavery reveal how much we are struggling to make genuine progress in these areas, or even to know what progress would look like. The Bible addresses these issues with profound wisdom which can equip Christians to work for our flourishing as a society, but more importantly for the glory of the gospel of Christ.
