In the early hours of August 2nd, 1990, Alan Barnett aged 15 landed in Kuwait International Airport en route to the boarding school he was attending in South India. Unbeknown to him, a few hours earlier, Iraqi troops that had been amassing on the Kuwaiti border began their invasion of Kuwait, rapidly overwhelming the defences of their oil rich neighbour. Captured by Iraqi forces, Alan was used as part of Saddam Hussein's human shield as the dictator defied the might of the Western world. Come and hear Alan share his story and tell of how God helped him and delivered him from harm.
A series of interviews arranged by The North Cotswolds Gospel Partnership and led by evangelist Roger Carswell talking to people in order to discover their real life stories.
