Lela was born in Uganda and spent her formative years in Kampala. She now lives in the United Kingdom with her husband and Children. She is an author who shares reaI-Iife experiences to encourage others. She has a heart for helping others and supports charities involved in education and healthcare throughout Africa. Among the books that she has written, she based her biographical novel, Lela: Ashes of Childhood, on the story of her childhood.
