Dear Friends,
Coronavirus
The coming weeks will be challenging: for some a time of confusion and frustration and for others a time of fear and isolation.
Under the latest guidelines issued by the Church of England we are suspending all public worship and church meetings until further notice and our Youth Work gatherings will also cease until further notice.
Our churches are working closely with others to offer support to the elderly, the vulnerable, the isolated and those who are self-isolating in our villages. We are producing ‘I can help’ postcards that can be dropped through neighbours’ and friends’ doors, but if you know of anyone who needs support but is not receiving it please telephone the church warden in your village. You can find all their contact details using this link.
If you would like to see details of the advice being given to churches by the Diocese of Gloucester and the Archbishops of Canterbury and York please ‘click here’. You can also use the following link for ‘prayer resources from the Church of England’.
We have updated our website to include other forms of worship that can be used whilst we are not able to attend church. You can access these resources from the Spiritual Resources tab on the website menu or from this link.
While there may be hard weeks ahead, we place our trust in a Lord who is mightier than we can comprehend. It is in Him we find hope – a hope that we are called to share with others.
